Choi Jeong Yeon

With the creed, ‘Never afraid of challenge’, She desires to be an affirmative architect who challenges continuously the changing architecture and always learns. Architecture is to embody buildings where everybody who stays sees, feels, and is satisfied. Based on her experience in architecture design for such diverse purposes as schools, facilities for the elderly or children, special warehouses, municipal crematoriums, and apartments, she endeavors to extract the optimal plan from the problems that always pop up by means of communication with the majority in honesty and confidence, and make efforts to create harmony.

Her major projects are as such: Gwangju Nongseong-dong SK View Central Residential Complex that mingles with parks and art museums on the site of Sangnok Center, which used to be the landmark for the citizens of Gwangju, the technical suggestion for YRP, Guri E-Pyeonhansesang Inchang Urban Forest Renovation that created the better living spaces through the communication with residents for a long time, and Suwon Iui-dong Gwanggyo E-Pyeonhansesang Apartment that innovated the exterior and interior space of living through the cooperation with experts.
